I loved her like a sister. She truly brought smiles and sunshine anywhere she went. She is already missed.

I never met Carla personally, but two of my coworkers used her services. They spoke so highly of Carla that I shared their grief when they learned of Carla's passing. The prayers of our office go out to Clint and the family.

Clint and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Carla’s passing. She was always such a spark of life, love, happiness and joy!! I have such great memories of her from taking care of my hair to baseball and step aerobics classes! She was always a bright light in my life and just enjoyed being around her! Even after I moved to Birmingham, I drove back to Carla to cut my hair because she was THAT GOOD at what she did and made you feel so good about yourself!
She fought a long hard battle but now she is completely healed, has a healthy body and in no pain and struggle. She is completely healed and taking care of everyone in heaven! She will have everyone laughing, talking, exercising and looking their very best!
Sending hugs, love, and prayers to you and the family. May God be with all of you during this time. Carla will always be in peoples hearts after having known her!

Carla had a beautiful smile and when asked about her grandchildren her smile would be mega bright. She always had her phone ready to show her little bees because she was their Honey. Thank you Lord for her pure spirit that was perfect to share your Love. Bless you Clint, know your heart is bruised but thankful because you had Carla’s love.

I remember the day I first met Carla. I had asked for someone with experience with long hair. Thank you Jesus, I got Carla. It was a match made in Heaven and I followed her all the way to Hair Expo. Then one day, much to my chagrin, she told me she was packing up and she and Clint were moving to Gulf Shores. Clint and Carla had taken Ashlei under their wing and we were both devastated. I remember telling Ashlei to tell her, "whatever it is that's happened we would work it out"! Well, the rest is history. She and Clint left us and lived a beautiful life for the next 19 years. Carla was quite a lady. Always smiling, laughing and always wide open. The Phrase' "a rolling stone gathers no moss" fit her perfectly.
I, along with so many others, are truly better for having known this beautiful, kind, loving lady. But without a shadow of a doubt, she is in a much better place. A place of sunshine, laughter, love and unmagimable beauty. Her loved one already there waiting with open arms to welcome her to her eternal home. She can look at everyone's hair, and never have to worry about picking up a pair of scissors again because she will be surrounded by perfection. The perfection our Savior, Jesus Christ, has created just for her as he awaited her arrival in that beautiful place we know as Heaven.
Rest well sweet lady, your journey on earth has ended but your eternity in Heaven has just begun. And I know you will be there waiting patiently to welcome every member of your precious family as they too enter those pearly gates one day.
Thank you for being a part of my life, Carla, I will never forget you.
With much love, Susan
