>Carl "CW" Shields, 61, of North Chicago, IL, passed away on November 08, 2013 unexpectedly.

 Carl was born on May 27, 1952 to Leo Shields Sr. and Dorothy Shields (Vogel) in Waukegan, IL. Carl liked to hang out with his best friends, Michael and Paul, who he would name his first son after. A lover of music, pool, and motorcycles, he was a very fun guy to be around. He met his wife, Helen when they were both 15 and they married at 19. They had two children together, Michael and Elizabeth. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo Shields Sr. and Dorothy Shields (nee Vogel), his brothers Leo Shields Jr. and Timothy Shields. He left behind to remember him his ex-wife Helen Shields, his children Michael Shields and Elizabeth (Robert) Cissna, his sisters Debbie (Mark) Fairbanks, Patricia (Victor) Romero, and Linda Shields, his brother James (Sherri) Shields, his good friends Michael and Paul, and his grandchildren Wyatt and Dominick. As well as countless nieces, nephews and friends.
