Think about you everyday brother and I think you’d be proud of how much I am learning about computers. Thanks again for all you taught me over the years!!
Happy birthday brother, I miss you everyday
My heart breaks for Carl's family, particularly for Sandy and Lorelei... it's so not fair and it sucks.  There are no words.

Sandy and Lorelei,

So sorry for your loss, the service was very touching.  Though we couldn’t be there in person, you are in our hearts.

Carl’s aunt

All our love, Angie and Bobby

We were saddened to hear of your loss. Much love, Kit & Doreen

To those who loved Carl, let me tell you he LOVED YOU RIGHT BACK!  This is probably a weird message to get from one of his Superior IT clients, but it is meant with great sincerity and truthfulness. He spent quite a few hours with us fixing "intractible" problems - and yes, the "On/Off" method was deployed!- and during one of those days earlier this year, he talked about his family, especially his daughter, and how much it meant to him that she find spaces of acceptance.   You all know this, but I hope it helps ease your grief a little bit to learn Carl's kindness, humor and intelligence was freely shared with his clients too.

Please accept our condolences, on behalf of the Georgia Justice Project, Jyotsna

Sending strength and love to you and the entire family.

I remeber meeting Carl all those moons ago, and the best story of how yall meet to go with it, and the best chocolate fountain to go with the most beautiful and fun gathering of your union. He didn't have to be nice to me, I was just the odd kid from across the street that got adopted in, but he didn't treat me any less. Watching yalls family grow, your stories, your adventures, everything was a joy. We talked and filled each other in from time to time on how everyone was doing and took part in awsome meme sharage.

He was a kind soul and his awsome humor always seemed to fill the room, deff a rarity. Was an honor to he considered not just a friend, but like family ya know.  Thank you for letting me know you in this journey we call life Carl. We raise our glasses in your name, we celebrate your life, we laugh at the stories, smile at good times and hold each other during the bad. They say no one is ever gone until their stories are not longer told. Well you luckily have so many stories, by so many people who you've blessed with your light that it will shine and glow and live on for ages. And if they tell it wrong you can haunt them for funnies, I can see you doing something like that heh. I'll miss ya man.

I’m so sorry Sandy! Sending love and warm hugs. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend as I will be visiting my sister in Utah that weekend. May your hearts be comforted.
Carl was a kind soul; he exhibited love from the first moment I met him. I am so sorry for your loss, he will be missed in so many ways.
He will be missed and I love the sense of humor obituary it was perfect.
