Carl is one of the kindest funniest people I ever met in my life aside from his late brother Cliff who i met later. Aside from Eucher thons at The Cave which where always a blast, just talking and bsing about family his daughter especially he was so proud of you , life etc. I remember he would always jokingly flirt and hit on my Mom [rip 2013] and me at the Amos Inn always making us laugh but one Saturday night we went to the Amos Inn with another friend of ours all dressed up for a night out and we ran into Carl he was sitting in a booth getting his drunk on we went over to sit with him who knows how long he was there prior to us getting there but we ordered a round of drinks and he was sweet talking us when he started to pass out and we where trying to wake him up with not much luck so I got a napkin and we wrote thank you for a round he got us and how 3 women wanted to dance with him and that kind of thing which we would have danced w/ and we all signed it and kissed the napkin folding it up putting it in his pocket. We ended up driving him home but he found the note in his pocket and carried it around for the longest. I am also going to share a memory I know my Mom (Joanne) would share if she was here how Carl and Cliff would sign Totos Rosanna to her sometimes when they would see her or while she was tending bar at the Amos Inn or The Aaragon Longe when it was owned by Carl and Jedi Campbell. I talked to Carl when or if I'd catch him on Facebook. But thank you Quick Carl for being someone I proudly called my friend and in our life. Much love and respect fly high my friend. Carl was my friend way before he was a part of my family. Then he was no longer family, but that didn't matter to him because we would always be long time friends. Everytime we would talk by phone or text he would always tell me I was one of his best friends and he was one of the longest friendships I have had. He knew that he could count on me and I could count on him. I have attempted to call him multiple times after his untimely death. It is very difficult, but at least I know he isn't suffering and that he is with his beloved family on the other side. RIP Carl E. Sapp

Boy he was a low key fierce with his low energy, but when he spoke (usually politics) you listen, i have many memories with him through a mutual friend (Micheal sanders) we just argued the weekend prior to his passing and of course it was political, but turned sentimental, about his health he was always taking care of me were he thought i needed help..... LOVE YOU BRO

So sorry to hear of Carls passing. I'll always remember sitting in TJs on Cleveland Ave back in the early 80s with Carl. We could talk for hours. So thankful to have those memories.
Theres a special place in my heart for him.
