I met Carl at Mel-o-Dee's and he was such a  kind person that cheered us all on with encouragement.  He looked out for us ladies and made sure we got to our cars safely! He was one of the reasons I enjoyed going to karaoke because I felt safe. 

I'd like to send my condolences to Carl's wife and family! The news of Carl's transition broke my heart. Such a kind person and a fantastic singer! Knowing that God is in control I let go!💔

Truly an incredible loss and I am still overwhelmed with sadness on the news of his passing. My family and I send our sincerest condolences and prayers in hope that you find faith, peace and comfort in the memories he leaves with us. This is DeeCee, KJ from the Mel-O-Dee and I have to say that our dearest friend Carl, who entertained us almost weekly, will certainly be missed. There is already a true void felt as you walk into the building. Carl knew and hugged everyone. He had the best hugs! I always looked forward to hearing Carl's signature songs and singing duets with him. Karaoke will not be the same without him. He was a genuinely sweet, kind and caring gentleman for which I will always be grateful in making his acquaintance and having developed such a great friendship. Rest in peace, my dear friend.
