Carl's obituary
Our Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend was called Home to Be With His Lord and Savior on November 30, 2019.
He was born on July 15, 1928 in York, Nebraska to John and Helen Kruse.
Carl’s Mom and Dad were immigrants from
Williams Haven, Germany in 1921.
He was the third sibling of 8 children,
Anne, John , Harry, Walter, Donald, Lorena and Dorothy.
He is now looking to his final journey a much anticipated reunion with his many loved ones who have gone on before him including
his Parents, along with his brothers John, Donald and Harry Kruse, sisters Anne and Lorena and loving son Forrest “Butch” Tincher.
Growing up Carl graduated from Burchard High School. He worked on his parents farm in Burchard, Nebraska.
Joining The United States Army in April of 1951, he became a Corporal in February 1953 and was stationed in Korea. Then returning to the United States, stationed at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He proudly served his Country and loved to tell stories of the experiences he had.
He married Marjorie (Lingo, Tincher) Kruse on June 7th 1969, in Pueblo Colorado.
They moved to Cañon City, Colorado in 1971
where he worked between, Pueblo (Burkes TV Repair) and Cañon City, Colorado.
He opened up Audio Video Incorpated with his Son Terry Tincher and Son-In-Law Chuck Benton, and stayed in Cañon City until he retired as a Electronics Repair Technician.
Carl and Marjorie spent 50 Wonderful years together. They have 8 children
Sheryl (Don) Smith of Pueblo, Colorado with daughter RaeAnne Short, son Shon (Lisa) Kruse of Peabody, Massachusetts with sons John, Joseph and Jesse Kruse.
Robert (Rhonda) Tincher of Shelley, Idaho with son Robert G. (Holly) Tincher and
daughter Stephanie (Destin) Sprague.
Forrest (Linda) Tincher Florence of Colorado with daughters Sarah Tincher and Shasta (Peter) Perez.
Terry (Muriel) Tincher of Pueblo Colorado with daughters Melissa (Jeff) Minich, Sabrena (Terry) Lewis and son Phillip Tincher.
Larry (Sherry) Tincher of Florence, Colorado.
Pennie (Chuck) Benton of Cañon City, Colorado with sons Ken (Lindsay) Cook,
Michael (Sheena) Cook and Robbie Benton.
Cherrie (Don) Hansen of Aurora, Colorado with daughter LaRessha (John) Seely, son Stephen (Misty) Diggs, and daughter Trissha (Cris) Diggs/Rodriguez.
Naomi Tincher of Watsonville, California
Step Children Shonna Clark of Pueblo, Colorado, Shelley (Jim) Wright of Waikoloa Village, Hawaii, Shane (Jodi) Ware of Thornton, Colorado.
He is also survived by his brother Walt (Anita) Kruse of Beatrice Nebraska, sister Dorothy Siske of Tecumseh, Nebraska, sister-in-law Shirley Kruse of Albuquerque, New Mexico and sister-in-law Darlene of Texas.
Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Carl has been a member of Canon City Community Baptist Church for almost 49 years. He was a Deacon in the Church and also spent over 45 years preaching at many nursing homes throughout the Cañon City area.
Celebration of His Life and A Military Honor Service will be held on December 14, 2019 at the Canon City Community Baptist Church, 1111 Monroe Ave (11th and Monroe), Cañon City, CO 81212 at 1:00 pm with reception to follow.
