Carl W Klettner passed away peacefully of old age in his home, the night of March 12th, 2023.

Carl was purchased in 2019 at the Petsupermarket in Wilmington NC, at the age of 1 year old. He had a parasitic virus known as the “ick” and needed immediate medical attention to improve his quality of life. He eventually overcame his sickness and lived a fruitful life. His main interests were mainly frozen meat cubes such as brine shrimp, beef hearts, bloodworms and his favorite, the freshwater clam. 

He leaves behind a loving mother and father, and 2 stepsisters. He will always be in our hearts as one of the best crawfish that there ever was.

He died how he lived, wet.
