Papa was a great guy. He could always make you laugh. He was an awesome father in law and amazing grandfather to my children. When I nearly sliced the tip of my finger off he was the first one on the scene and confirmed I needed stitches. I learned a lot from him when we built our first home in front of his house on Downs Road. There are not enough words that can be said about what a great man he has been and what a huge loss his presence will be to his family. I’m sure he is catching up with my parents and looking down upon everyone with such great pride. I am honored to have had you as part of my life.

Kathy, 

The love that you and Carl had for each other, for your family, and for everyone around you was absolutely inspiring! Your incredible concern and generosity toward Kip and I  touched our whole family in ways we will never forget! You have lost a special treasure and heaven has become sweeter with Carl's presence!!
