Dixie Plywood had the good fortune of employing Carl for several years. Carl was a hard worker who never shirked a task. I appreciated his work ethic and his friendship. He will be missed. God Bless Carl! Our condolences to his family.

Carl was my mother's second youngest brother and we were 8 years and 9 months apart. She lived on Nebraska St. which is now Martin Luther King St. We use to sit outside on the porch with his other niece's as well. So one night he was there with us and we did our usual get the water hose and when the Via bus and other cars would pass by we would skeet them with water and run in the house and turn off the lights. So, that one particular night he was trying to tell us what to do. And we was saying no we are not listening to you. So, he pushed me on the lawn chair and cut my leg. And I have that scar on my leg still. So, when we visit him on the 21st of November 2020 in Katy. We had the chance to laugh and share old memories outside on the patio. I told him now I should just push you out the chair for doing that to me and he laughed and thought it was so funny. But that moment was a moment of joy and laughter. And that is the smile I will remember him by always. He will be missed but never forgotten. Love you and rest on with your family on the other side. I know your partner in crime your elder sister will be happy to see you :)
