Background
We are heartbroken by the unexpected loss of Carey Duncan Hulsey, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, friend, and U.S. Army Veteran, who touched many lives with his strength, humor, and kindness. As we grieve, we are also faced with the financial responsibilities that come with honoring his life in a way that reflects the love we all had for him.
We created this fundraiser to help cover the costs associated with Carey’s passing, including funeral and memorial services, transportation, burial/cremation expenses, and any outstanding fees from his care. Any remaining funds will be donated in his honor to the Disabled Veterans Charities.
Your donations—no matter the amount—will help ease the financial burden on our family during this incredibly difficult time. Most importantly, they will allow us to focus on remembering and celebrating Carey’s life, rather than worrying about how to cover the costs.
