I will never forget the night we reconnected. Chuck and I were at a Boys and Girls Club Fundraiser, at the Biltmore, in Phoenix. During cocktail hour, I looked across the lobby and saw you, you turned and saw me too. We ran to each other, screaming like two little girls, and hugged. I couldn’t believe we were in the same place, I thought you were living in MN. We hugged and it was like time stood still, we were back in High School. After that night, our families spent a lot of time together and we had a blast. I’m sorry for the time we missed- I love you.

We carpooled for many years and she was the greatest person to drive the kids and they would talk to her about many things that concerned them: girls, friends, sports.... I used to ask her: “how do you do it Cara? When they’re in the car with me they don’t tell me anything” and she would give me her secret tips. Great mom, great woman, we all miss her so much!
