Alexis Preisser-Terrell
2002, Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), Seabreeze Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL, USA
Bob was showing a yacht to someone and he saw me on a yacht right across it.  I was wearing an off the shoulder red dress and my red hair was shiny and beautiful . He said he saw me and that he had to meet me; that it was like a lightening bolt going  through him, that he'd never seen such a beautiful woman. When he appeared before me I was pleased to meet an extraordinarily handsome and very muscular man with green eyes that seemed to devour me. We went out the next day and were together till his death....truly love, or lust, at first sight.

I met Bob in West End Grand Bahama in 1980. He was captain of a yacht with a family of 3. They docked in the slip next to my parents sailboat. I immediately put on my bikini and started to wash down our boat as he was doing the same. Needless to say we went to the bar that night and had a blast. Dated for the next year. I traveled to New Orleans where he was running transport for the oil rigs. The next summer he captained my parent's sailboat back to West End. We then parted ways where it all started. I have never met a man that could dance as well as Bob or was as handsome. Fare winds and following seas my friend. Love,Lolly

I learned that he was amazing, very handsome and strong and he loved me deeply. I wish I had shown him the same amount of love

He was very giving, donating money and time to various charities.
In response to "What act of kindness did you witness from Captain William "Bobby"?"
Bob loved the ocean and motorcycles. Best times were flying down  along the Florida coast on his fire engine Harley Davidson.  We went to Daytona Bike week frequently. He participated in the Hokey Hey competition and did very well considering he was one of the older competitors.
