Cameron's obituary
Cameron Hadden Harley, of Aiken, SC, passed away unexpectedly on October 20, 2022. He was only 33 years old. Our family is devastated and shocked by this loss. Cameron was born on August 13, 1989 in Columbia, SC to parents Troy Hadden Harley and Kimberly Ann Harley.
Cameron was raised in Myrtle Beach, SC and Aiken, SC.
Cameron was so handsome as an adult (not so much as a baby). He had the good looks, great body - didn’t even have to work out, smart, piercing blue eyes, he was so funny and loved to make people laugh. When Cameron and his sister were little and he made her mad (like the time he tore his sisters radio apart and tried to put it back together but couldn’t) he would say, “funny bunny” in a really funny way and make her laugh. He really had it all.
Cameron was deeply passionate about everything he loved. He loved cars and working on them, playing the guitar, listening to music, pirates, making people laugh, but he loved his son more than anything in this world. He was a great dad. His son, Skyler, will remember him and how much Cameron loved him.
After Cameron graduated from High School, he worked in different odd jobs, enjoying the variety of life and the thrill of learning new trades. A couple months prior to Cameron's accident he got a job that was so incredibly excited about. He raved about how happy he was with work and with how his life was going. He was happy.
Tomorrow is not guaranteed for anyone. A quote Cameron posted on FB this past Jan “I’m sorry for not hugging you tighter, I thought I would see you again”.
Cameron is survived by Skyler Hadden Harley (Son), Melinda Harley Roy (Sister), Drecilla Wells (half sister), Alanis Harley Roy (Niece), Michael Keith Harley (Uncle), Michelle Harley Edmund (Aunt), Buffy Harley Thouvenot (Aunt), Jody Weimortz Harley (Step Uncle), Carolyn Carithers Cook (Step Aunt), Gwen Carithers Sollenberger (Step Aunt), Percy Hadden Harley, Jr. (Grandfather), Robin Harley (Step Grandmother), Floyd Henry Carithers (Step Grandfather), Roger O'Neil Harley (Uncle), Gloria Anne Jernigan (Aunt), Terri Wilson Queen (Aunt), Mike Wilson (uncle), Daryl Wilson (uncle), and is predeceased by Troy Hadden Harley (Father), Kimberly Wilson Harley (Mother), Emily Murrell Carithers (Grandmother), Percy Hadden Harley, Sr. (Great Grandfather), Anne Ballentine Harley (Great Grandmother), Otis Wilson ( Grandfather) , Peggy Wilson (Grandmother)
