Cameron's obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Cameron DeArmond, who left us unexpectedly on August 20, 2024.
Born on November 6, 1988 in Grand Rapids, the first half of Cameron’s life was action-packed. He loved to be doing anything outside – golfing, fishing, hunting, biking – and spent his early years keeping his parents on their toes. A typical boy, Cameron never stood still and was a regular at the local Med-center for his numerous visits for stitches.
As Cameron grew, so did his love for the outdoors. He enjoyed playing disc golf with his friends, shredding the mountain with his sisters, and exploring the woods while calling in wildlife. Although he battled mental illness during his adult years, Cameron always cared about his family and would help anyone in need.
In addition to his parents (Suzzette Shaffer and Eric DeArmond), Cameron leaves behind two sisters, along with nieces, grandparents, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Cameron did not want a funeral service, but we appreciate all the love and support and encourage everyone to share their favorite memories and photos of Cameron on this website. In lieu of flowers, please do something positive to spread kindness in your community in memory of Cameron.
