Caleb Michael Phenix,  22 of Belding, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023. He was born August 8, 2000 in Greenville. Caleb was a true car guy, and enjoyed going to car shows with his Pontiac G8. He built out the G8 himself, and owned four different cars. He enjoyed playing disc golf and loved spending time with his pit bull, Tink. Caleb was blunt and honest, and while he could be stubborn at times, he had the biggest heart. You always knew where you stood with him, and he wore his heart on his sleeve. He loved music and enjoyed having a good time.  He is survived by his mother, Laura Phenix; father, Robert Heiss; sister, Tori (Devin Babcock) Phenix; girlfriend, Robin Murray; grandmother, Robin Phenix; niece, Hayden Babcock; uncle, Aaron Phenix; Aunt, Holly (Rick) Andree, and many other family members and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding, with visitation from 12:00 to 2:00 pm prior to the service. Pastor Mike Simmons of Oasis Ministries in Belding will serve as officiant. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution are asked to consider the needs of the family.
