Thank you for being part of our special day to honor and remember Caitlin. Because Caitlin was clear that she did not want a "funeral," we are treating this as a true celebration. Please wear comfortable clothing, and include one or more of the colors of Mardi Gras (purple, green, and gold), reflecting Caitlin's playful spirit and her love of her hometown of New Orleans.
A note about Covid precautions at our event. We understand that many people are weary of masks and other measures, but Covid still poses a serious threat. Long Covid, in particular, is a special concern for our family and not well understood. Moreover, Caitlin was a public health advocate, and it would dishonor her memory if a celebration of her life became a vector for spreading disease. Therefore, we ask that everyone wear a mask during the church service. Masking is optional at the post-service reception, where it will be possible for those not comfortable with crowded indoor spaces to step outside. Thank you for tolerating this small inconvenience for the sake of the greater good.

Covid is still a concern, some guests are immunocompromised, and Caitlin was a public health advocate. Therefore, we are asking all guests to wear masks while in the church sanctuary.

All are welcome to join us after the service for vegetarian food and conversation at the Baltimore Rowing & Water Resource Center, a beautiful spot on the water in Middle Branch Park. Delicious entrees will be provided by Mera Kitchen Collective, a women and immigrant-owned local eatery. If possible, please bring a small side, desserts, or non-alcoholic drinks to supplement the repast. No meat, please. Label everything appropriately as vegan, gluten-free, etc. Please use this Signup Genius link and describe what you are bringing, so we don't get 25 bean salads: https://www.signupgenius.com/…

Caitlin loved the Orioles and would want us to have fun as we remember her, so let's gather at beautiful Oriole Park at Camden Yards on Sunday afternoon to cheer on the Birds of Baltimore as they take on the Cincinnati Reds. Please RSVP by 4/12 so we'll know how many tickets to get.
