Background
Caitlin was a fierce advocate for supporting health, well-being, and opportunities for women, particularly women living in poverty and facing structural barriers. Her passion for creating sustained inroads for women to be treated with respect, dignity, and equity was her life's work, and she was a national leader who made a wave of positive impact. She supported the National Network of Abortion Funds, which helps ensure access to critical health services. Caitlin would want her family, friends, neighbors, community, and colleagues to continue that support.
Caitlin was also a lover of animals and nature, especially birds. She would frequently apply her artistic eye to capture stunning photographs of the various places she would visit with her husband, children, and friends. Her best friend and husband, Mike, suggested she elevate her interest in photography, and true to her nature, she pursued it with dedication, passion, and humor. Her daughter Emily suggested the Maryland Ornithological Society as an organization in line with Caitlin's values. It supports a variety of fundraising campaigns related to conservation, protection, and education about birds in Baltimore and Maryland. Contribute to National Network of Abortion Funds
