Caitlin was a very giving , caring , amazing , special woman. Im still cant believe she is actually gone. She will forever hold a special piece of my heart. Love you C money honey
I only met Caitlan once in Pa. and will always remember her joy, her humor, her quick wit. Such a loss when we need her most! We need you Caitlan and will feel the loss of your presence.
Dear Laurie, Mark, and Jocelyn --especially Jos. I was so sad to learn the news about Caitlin. I never knew her as an adult but I do remember her a bright, tough, fun spirit. In the midst of this tragedy, I am happy to see that you and she became so close and had such good times together. I hope those memories help you through this terrible time. With love and sympathy, Deb

I used to call myself Caitlin’s oldest living client. When East End Salon opened a block from my apartment, I thought they looked like they could use some customers. So Caitlin cut my hair and over the next few years, as East End grew and thrived, she patiently coaxed me into a new cut that I resisted, but grew to love as I got compliments and was happy to say it’s by Caitlin at East End. When Caitlin moved to Florida, I was bereft. It took a long time to find a hairdresser who can do almost what Caitlin did. That’s just almost. There will never be another Caitlin.
My sincere condolences. I knew Caitlin from East End Salon in Old City Philadelphia in since 1998. I had the pleasure of meeting her and Jo. We had many good times and memories. My heart was broken when I heard the news. She was a beautiful person inside and out. I loved seeing her and speaking with her. I am so sorry for you loss.

I'm shocked and still in disbelief at Caitlin's passing. My sincere condolences and love to Laurie, Jocelyn, Mark /Kuniko and extended family.
We meet in the 80's at a dance hall in downtown Seattle. I was enamored with her and booked an anonymous appointment with her hair salon. I had to ask her out. Caitlin worked at Gene Juarez. She was a very talented stylist/artist. After we started dating, I remember walking right passed her at the salon and asking an employee where she was. Everyone laughed because Cait had colored her hair RED and I didn't recognize her. She was very proud of herself for tricking me. Cait was a stunning looking woman with quick wit, charm and grace. A classic beauty with a big heart. My parents and sisters adored her. We enjoyed many adventures together: JB's place in Maimi- Fishing Key West-Gambling in Lake Tahoe- Cape May sun bathing with Dot ❤️ Sailing on the Hudson, NY with Jos- New Orleans Bourbon street-Watched some incredible shows at the Paramont theater in Seattle- We eventually moved to Philadelphia due to her mother's health. We traveled down the coast and across the country camping with Pete and Chaulky (the cats) which was difficult as these two did not enjoy being on a leash. During our last leg of this trip, we pitched a tent in Myrtle Beach late at night. We survived a major rain storm by baling out of there, jumping in the suburu and driving straight up to New Hope, PA. We laughed about that for days.
After the move, Caitlin began work at Oggi Hair Salon in Rittenhouse square. She loved eating at that culinary school nearby.
I will always think of her when watching Best in Show and the Westminster Kennel Club. The poodles always made her laugh. She "had" to watch Jeopardy and always answered correctly. She was incredibly smart as you may know.
I have such wonderful memories of this incredible woman. I will always hold these dear to my heart although it is broken. She helped me grow up and showed me a new world on the East coast. She introduced me to a deeply connected family whom accepted me without hesitation. Today, I am grateful to have known and loved Caitlin. That laugh and knowing smile warmed my heart. As brilliant as she shined, there was always a dark shadow nearby. It scared me and it taunted her. I couldn't save her but sure tried. One day, black beauty came and our relationship ended.
Over the years, we kept in touch. I am glad for Facebook as we have followed each other's lives in posts during this time. I checked in with her well being during most of the hurricanes here in Florida. Cait's response was " Its been so crazy windy for the last 24 hours, on my last nerve" ...damn, she was funny.
Rest your beautiful mind now Cait. You are in good company up there. Peaceful now.

Love you Always, Bubba

Cait and Jos laughing as always
I remember a New Year’s Eve we all spent together at my house in Centerport NY. She insisted on playing with my hair making it curlier and curlier. Just what I hated about my hair. I remember her telling me to embrace it... don’t fight it. I’m not sure I’ve ever embraced my curls. But that was one of my best New Years Eve. We gorged on Lobsters and lots of wine. RIP Caitlin. 💔💔💔
I met Caitlin 3 months ago. After a proving my worthiness she agreed to go out with me. We soon were spending almost all of our spare time together. I enjoyed every moment with her until a few weeks ago when we had our first disagreement. We kept in touch and I believe she wanted to give it another try. I couldn't decide, yet I didnt want to lose her. Now I truely have. I regret so much now on being a stubborn ass. I will miss you Caitlin.
My prayers to all her family and friends.
We are beyond saddened by your sudden loss of Caitlin. We loved her. She was such a lightening rod of passion and love, and she had such a good heart. I will alway remember her crazy laugh and how she good really dish “it” out! My gosh she was a presence!
