Artist Hobbs, as many knew him, passed away quickly and peacefully of a stroke, after struggling with profound dementia for 5 years. For those who knew him, he was a creative force of nature who contributed a massive body of work in paintings, sculpture, books and films. This website is a memorial to honor his creative genius, kind heart and all the ways in which he was an exceptional father, grandfather and family member.
