Very sorry for your loss.  Worked with Byron for many years at Jordan Kitt's Music.  A big admirer of his Sales ability and communication skills.  Too many fond memories and stories to share but not enough space here. He will be missed by one and all.  Please share your mailing address with my via email to me.

When I was 12, I spent a summer in Florida visiting all of my family there. Olivia was less than a year old and just as beautiful then as she is now. Byron was so very kind. He took me to Disney World. He was so much fun, and I’m sure he had much better things to do that day than fulfill my dream of going to Disney, but he still did. He even took me through the cast member tunnels and the special places he knew about. It’s a day I will never forget.

I’m also grateful that I was able to visit with him, Frank, Aunt Barbara, Uncle Jack, and Terry the day before they all went to Yosemite with my parents, Pam and Weldon Ballard.

My heart is with everyone who loved Byron. He touched so many lives with his kindness and his spirit, and I hope all of you feel surrounded by comfort, love, and cherished memories during this difficult time.

Olivia, Lizzy, and Frank I’m so sorry for your loss. I remember you living with your dad for a short period after your breakup with Steven and he was so caring and such a genuine person. I’m glad I got to meet him. Xoxo
What a wonderful obituary for such a wonderful person.  Byron will be missed by the world! My deepest condolences to Frank and Byron's family. He lived a good, happy life, and is in Heaven with his Father now. Such a blessed life!
I recall being on Lynx trips (moving retreats on sleeper buses we would take into the Smoky Mountains) with Byron. He was always the favorite leader on the bus. He would be like a pied piper with kids lining up behind him marching around the bus while we cooked chili. That big goofy smile rarely left him. What energy! I am sorry for your loss. A big hole is left. Look to God who hurts with you.
Byron has been a gift to the world. I fondly remember his big open smile from way back during our Merritt Island High School Drama Club years, where we met. He was in fact, great at practical jokes and making people laugh. We will miss him. Thank you Byron for sharing your talent at the piano, with your singing voice, and for showing the world how to love.
remembering happy days at jordan kitt’s music. pray and watch over us

My heart goes out to all of you. No doubt some of that amazing sparkle comes from your daddy.

From the moment I met Byron in about 2009, he made me smile. So warm and lovable. But my best memory- the one that tickles me into laughter, is the forever etched in my memory- picture of him dancing at Olive’s cruise wedding- getting down better than anyone else. So full of charm, and fun, and rhythm.

You will be greatly missed, Byron!!! I hope your angel wings are as beautiful as you imagined and you’re dancing freely up there! 🩷🩷🩷🩷

Byron was our ah-mazing neighbor when we lived in Stone Mountain, GA. He and Frank were so wonderful to our then toddler, Joshua. He was the kindest soul and the BEST neighbor ever!! Sending love and light to all that loved him!
Byron was my cousin and we only had the pleasure of meeting a couple times because we grew up in different states but a story about him and Frank in 2018 my daughter was having seizures and they were sending her to Seattle Children’s Hospital. Byron and Frank sent me $100 to help with some expenses. It touched my heart so much and helped my family so much. Sending hugs and prayers to the family at this time.
Met Byron and Frank as customers at the instore bank branch I managed in laurel, Md.  On more than one occasion Byron picked up packaged cinnamon rolls and I heated them in our microwave before he bought them.  And then he sold me my piano. Great memories of he and Frank in the Savage store.  Thoughts are with Frank and the family.
Byron and I were in high school and church youth group together.  Those growing up years were intense, and I was always glad to have him as a friend.  I was fortunate enough to be connected to him periodically over the years, including a time when he took me to dinner in Columbus, Ga and introduced me to bread pudding!  I'll owe him for that one forever.  I'm so glad he was so loved in his life!

Byron was one of a kind. He  always had a smile on his face. I will always love him for how he treated Mom. He made sure she was taken care of especially when she was at their home. Him & Frank brought us to Florida when  she was sick. The pranks he played on her were priceless. He treated me & Mary as if we were his sisters. One more reason to love him. I will miss him deeply. I hope he finds Mom in heaven & makes her laugh again...

I was so fortunate to be a part of Byron 's family.   I will always cherish all the memories through good times and the bad.  My heart goes out to all of you.

We are sorry of hear about your dad.

Praying for you and your family.

Chris & Bougie
