Background
Our family is in so much pain, and we have been thinking of ways we can memorialize Butters, our dog and family member of 15 years. Butters came into our lives in 2010 in Arizona, and by 2015 moved across the country with us to NYC. She loves NYC parks, and NYC parks love all dogs. We would love to adopt either a bench or a tree, in honour of Butters' life and the life of all dogs. The bench or tree will serve as a reminder to love our earth, spend time outdoors, connect with people and animals, smile at strangers, and inspire people to adopt that animal and give them a home.
