Personal note from Deloras

I have received so many notes and cards from our many friends, neighbors and family members that have been so heart felt, describing what an incredible, loving, kind, and caring gentleman Budd was. It is with much gratitude that I thank you for these messages. You are helping create an enduring picture of Budd. My focus with him has been the last 2 years, and prior to that when he was first diagnosed with MSA in 2019 and we needed to learn to live with the debilitating illness. Your messages have helped me picture my loving husband, the way I want to remember him. We had been married for 60 years and 4 months...a marriage made in heaven.

It is also with much gratitude that I thank our daughters, Michelle and Gretchen, for being there with me. Gretchen's guidance and decision making these last two years allowed us to be able to care for Budd at home. Michelle regularly came from Colorado to provide additional support when needed. Our son in laws were there beside us, including Scott who was a daily back -up, and our dear grandchildren (Declan, Wole, and Willow) who cheered their grandfather, all the way to the end. Budd had an amazing team of caregivers who provided the best care possible. My heart felt thank you to all.
