Bryan James Crapper
Aka Palaina
Aka Skid James
Aka Jams
Here’s a brief insight of wonderful, warm, forever and beyond….. memories… of a special, gentle soul.
Memories of:
Adventures together out in the wide open world & the familiar comfort of home.
Of my pleasure and honour, to blend into Bryan’s life with his Family & Porsha for a memorable period of my life, with his passion and depth of his convictions.
There were dreams that we made a reality, and dreams that we just plain enjoyed dreaming about.
I was blessed to be invited to join Bryan & his siblings in beautiful MAUI, where I found my ‘Mellow’. In Maui…. My heart, my soul…. was finally home.
Bryan played darn near any instrument. And played them well. He could sing and dance too!
He was a #1 puzzle partner-in-crime, with an amazing unique way of making us both roar with laughter!
FOREVER etched in my heart… memories of living with the wondrous world of MUSIC in life, every Single Day!
The Friday night jams, starring Bryan Crapper & Chris Bassett = BC & CB. Sunday mornings wake up jams, impromptu strumming & walking along the 7 mile beaches of Maui while he played the UKE to the applause of other beach goers.
I am, forever, a #1 fan of BC & CB.
Bryan introduced me to and bought me my very own Ukulele as a bd gift.
This beauty has been my sidekick, my savior since my fractured ribs accident in 2018 and gave me love & support through the loneliness & isolation of COVID-19 right up to present day! I can't picture life without my Uke. Mahalo Bryan.
I will always smile as I think of:
swinging on the swings, blowing bubbles, the gardens, cherry picking, backyard birds, rabbits hip-hoppin’, the fireworks, the ‘Roses of Sharon’!
the warm Livingroom fires and the home filled with flowers from his gardens.
his appreciation for my love of Dragons, vanilla candles illuminating the dinner table, my plants & decorations.
for allowing me to see the Bryan James Crapper I initially found myself caring for when we first met in 1969.
I will always hear, see & miss the Love in your Laughter, the Twinkle in your Eyes, your Hugs, your Music!
Mahalo Bryan, for the cherished memories.
Until We may meet again, You are missed.
