Bryan is the kind of coach that every parent dreams of for their child. Sending much love and comfort to his family, the Source family and his family of climbing friends. Bryan is surely already teaching the angels to climb and handing out high fives and cookies.

Bryan was adored as an anchor in the PNW youth competitive climbing community. His kindness and enthusiasm were infectious. . . his personality like a magnet of positive energy.
I will miss visiting with Bryan at competitions. He was a kindred spirit in sharing this great sport with the kids.

Bryan rowed 3 of my boys (Jordan from the climbing team included) all around the lake. He was the captain of the "Gray Ghost" We are so thankful for our memories we have with Bryan on this trip.

Our family is crushed. Bryan has coached Kevin & Jordan for over almost 10yrs. He is without a doubt their biggest cheerleader. Always passionate and excited about coaching his climbing team kids to excel, and always with such positive encouragement no matter the outcome. Our whole family was blessed by the time we spent with Bryan in the gym, at competitions, and at Reno nationals last summer. He spent an amazing day with our family at Lake Tahoe on that trip. He has an unmatched spirit of positivity and love that will stay with us forever. So much love to his family at home at The Source

I don't even know where to start. I've known Bryan most of my life. It almost doesn't feel real that he's gone. Bryan supported me when it felt like nobody else did. He was an unending fountain of positivity, an unyielding light. The world is all the darker without him.
When I talk to people about the things I've done that shaped me I seldom mention rock climbing. However, in retrospect, climbing I think shaped me the most. Before I learned confidence in my skills doing public speaking, I learned it on the rock wall. I met some of my most treasured friends on the climbing team. I owe most of that to Bryan. I so fondly remember just sitting in isolation at competitions with him just chatting about anything and everything.
He was so excited about the school I got into, and in return I was so excited to tell him about what I had done in college. It fills me with an indescribable sadness knowing I'll never be able to tell him all of the stories I so wished to. Know that you not only brightened my life, but the life of everyone you interacted with.

We were brand new climbers in Covid and Bryan was our intro to the gym and the sport ❤️ He was always encouraging, passionate about climbing, giving tips and just making our entire family feel like part of the community. His loss is all the more devastating because of the impact he made every day in the lives of everyone who came to the Source. He was a truly beautiful and genuine person ❤️
