Bruce's obituary
It is with a heavy heart that the family of Bruce L. Ramsey announce his passing on June 23,2023 in Samaritan Hospice in Voorhees, New Jersey.
Bruce was known for his great sense of humor and a strong work ethic. Bruce left an indelible mark on all that knew him and will never be forgotten.
Bruce was born in Cuba, New York on May 1, 1966. He graduated from Scio High School in 1984 and proudly from Alfred University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
He worked in the creation of government contracts for Lockheed Martin Corporation purchasing department in New Jersey and Virginia. Bruce received many accolades for his hard work and dedication.
Bruce was the son of Mona and Laverne Ramsey of Western New York, who predeceased him, and his brother Roger who passed in 2022. He is survived by his beautiful sister Deborah Ramsey and her son Jacob Seaver. Bruce also leaves his former wife and forever friend Ellen Caruso Ramsey.
Bruce's most cherished gift was his beloved daughter, Anjelica Summer Ramsey. Anjelica navigated her dad's healthcare issues for many years with poise, grace and selfless dedication. Her dad's wisdom and love will continue to be a guiding light for her.
Bruce had several lifetime friends from kindergarten that were a great source of love and support to him throughout his life. Thank you to all.
In lieu of flowers please consider a gift to Genesis House of Olean, New York as Bruce was a sensitive and compassionate man towards those experiencing displacement. The family will spread his ashes in his beloved Wellsville at a later time. He is finally in peace and will always be loved.
