So sad to hear of Bruce's passing. When Micheal play for me, Bruce was a fixture in our program. He did everything he could to help and be a part of his son's lives. He loved his kids so much. He became a great friend and will be missed.

I have so many great memories that Bruce was a part of. He was quite the jokester with a great smile and an infectious laugh. I hate that he had to leave this earth so early but am happy to know he is at peace in heaven. He lives on in the hearts and memories of so many people. The Lackey's are a second family to me and I'll truely miss saying "Hello Bruce" (in the shark voice from finding nemo) every time I see him. Bruce may not have gotten the chance to experience all that he wanted to in life but he and Kim raised some incredible children who I cannot imagine my life without. Bruce will get to look down on his beautiful family, see all the great things they accomplish, and feel at peace knowing they continue to exude the same charm, joy, and kindness that he showed during his time here on earth. All my prayer's go out to the Lackey family. Love you all.

I’m crushed to hear this sad news of Bruce’s passing. Bruce was a great friend of mine in college. We were both Yell Leaders at NW and loved cheering on the Bearcats. We roomed together our last year at NW and Bruce was one of my Groomsmen. I lost track of Bruce after college but thought of him often. My prayers to his family.
