My deepest sincerity and condolences go to Bruce and his family whom I grew up with and had the pleasure to share many memories , including those from high school sports, and our experiences while in the Boy Scouts. He was a special person and will be missed. My prayers and wishes go to Kim and all his children, and grand children. I wish the best to Brian, Steve , and Lisa whom we all shared special moments together with Bruce . To Betty and Gary who hold a special place in my heart, know he is watching over all of us now, smiling , and at peace. Bruce was a special man. God Bless you all.

I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. Bruce was such a good person. I truly enjoyed the conversations we had over the years about sports and Michael and Alex's successes. He was so excited to be a grandpa and Lanie made that happen. What I will remember the most about Bruce was how proud he was of his children. God Bless!
I am so sad to hear this news of my old neighbor. Our family always enjoyed our time with Bruce and family. I regret we lost touch as we moved away. I will remember Bruce as a good natured and fun guy. Prayers for Kim, Michael, Lanie, and Alex and the rest of the family.
To the entire Lackey family.
I am so sorry for your loss. Please accept my deepest condolences. I knew Bruce as I met him many times in dealers stores and at market. May Gods blessings help carry you and comfort you through this most difficult time.

My son Eric played Necco ball with Michael when the boys were young ! That is where I got to know Bruce ! He was someone everyone just liked ! He was always friendly and just visited with everyone ! I ran into Bruce many times after that at the gym or at Mass ! So very sorry to hear this news ! So sorry for all the family’s loss - he sure left behind a wonderful family
I was deeply saddened to hear of Bruce’s passing. I have many fond memories growing up together through school in Smithville. As Adults our lives crossed occasionally and Bruce was always the same soft spoken , caring person I remember. To his loving family, Reggie and I send our deepest condolences.
Treasured forever!

Especially accompanying Bruce hitting a hole in one at the Excelsior Springs National 4th hole and witnessing the award ceremony and presentation of the green jacket by no other than Tank Tomc in the Butler cabin ........brings back a very special moment.

Bruce will never be forgotten
My sincere condolences to the whole family on the passing of Bruce. May God comfort you all and provide you with His love, grace and strength during this difficult time in your lives. I remember Bruce’s infectious smile and caring heart. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. May he Rest In Peace. God bless.
