Bruce's obituary
He was a special person and he taught people patience and how to be happy for little things just by being "Bruce". He was loved by many people that he met throughout his life since he moved to many facilities. He did not talk much but made sure his needs were known. He loved toy cars, helicopters, motorcycle rides. and anything that spun. His laugh was contagious. He enjoyed riding a three wheeled bike as a kid. He Loved Elmo and cookie monster. His favorite time of year was his birthday and Christmas when he received many presents and he would ask for "more presents please".
Per his family wishes, he will be cremated and buried with his dad at Mount Calvary cemetery in Davenport, Iowa. There will be no memorial services.
He is preceded in death by father Patrick James Carr, Niece Carrie Christine Carr, Grandparents William and Luella Carr, Ruby Mills, Aunt Sara Melroy Irhig. He is survived by his mother Joyce Carr, brothers Christopher & Brian Carr, and sister Theresa Carr, several nephews and niece, great nephew and niece. Any memorials made in his name to your favorite charity or palliative care facility would have made him happy.
