I called to schedule an appointment for eye exam and found out Dr. Capperton was no longer with us I was devastated. I remember my first appointment with him was so hilarious he kept saying better , worst, or abou the same I kept saying go back I was about blind but he found the right eye prescription for me and for years I had no change in my eye sight. He enjoyed helping others and he didn't get aggravated. I will never forget you Dr.Capperton and the laughter we shared. My deepest sympathy to the family.

Dr. Caperton gave my family and I the best treatment we’ve ever received from an Optometrist! He always had a funny story to tell about his family! I’m heart broken because I had no idea he was gone. Rest in Heaven Dr. C.

Dr. Caperton was my Optometrist. I am saddened to learn of his passing. He was such a Great Person who never meet a stranger. I will miss our talks during my eye exams. My heart aches with the news of Bruce’s passing. The most common word that describes him is kind. I worked with Bruce for several years at Southern Eye Institute. We became close friends so much so that I asked him to be my best man at my wedding. You will be miss my friend.

I was lucky enough to have met Bruce while he lived with Kim and Matt. He loved coming up to the pool with us and playing with mine and my girlfriends’ kids. My kids adored Mr. Bruce, who was always willing to play with them (“the monsters”). Bruce was such a kind spirit and wonderful man. We were blessed to have known him. Rest peacefully, Bruce.

Bruce’s life centered around his Family. He always said his biggest accomplishment was being a Father and Grandfather. His last words to me were that he loved us all with all of his heart and that he would always watch over us. What an inspiration he was to his family, friends, colleagues, patients and anyone that knew him. He wore his heart on his sleeve and always a smile on his face.
