Looking through the photos and reading through the memories makes you realize how deeply Brooks was loved by family and friends.  Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Brooksie, this much I know to be true, you were very LOVED!!  And, YOU, loved with a GENEROUS and open heart, sometimes too much sweet one.

My heart aches so. I wish things were easier and kinder in this life on earth, especially for you.

I will remember your intelligence and quick wit. I will remember your curiosity. I will remember your beautiful, big blue eyes.  I will remember your sweetness with our pups, even crazy Nina Rottweiler.  I will remember your gentleness.

You will be greatly missed sweet Brooksie.

Eve, you are an extraordinary and devoted mother.  Truly remarkable.  Please don’t forget this.  You have helped me with our boys countless times and I know you have done so for many others. Your friends and family admire your incredible strength and endless abilities. We are heartbroken for you, Teddy, Clarke, Carole and  family  

We are all here for you, and will help you through this tremendous grief and  loss. We love you!

 Dear Eve, when I look at these beautiful pictures, I see how much joy Brooks brought you all. Tim and I send our deepest sympathy to your entire family who clearly loved Brooks dearly. We are so deeply, incredibly sorry. Sending you love and support.

Our hearts are broken and ache with you.  These photos  are a treasure-I love Brooks’ mischievous little smile and big blue eyes and what a handsome young man he became.  Words cannot properly express how sorry we are - we grieve with you and your family Eve and send our most profound sympathy.

Sending you and your entire family all of our love 

It was so terribly sad to hear the news about Brooks. I didn’t know him well as an adult but do remember what a sweet boy he was. I recall once when he and I went outside in his yard in  new Canaa, a place I still think of as the ‘forsythia house’.  I was watching him, all the whole worrying that he would run too close to the hill and topple down. Thank you, Brooks, for not doing so and making me feel like a dud of a babysitter. 

     You will be missed by the family and all those who loved you.
