This year has passed quickly and slowly all at once.  The world seems a little duller and harder without him so I lit a candle in honor of Brooks (keeping his memory alive).  Remember the good funny times that shaped you and your family.  His connection, love and light lives on in all of you.  We will always hold him and your family in our hearts.  xo

You were a brilliant, loyal friend.

Smart, funny, as real as they come, and wise beyond your years.

And above all , you had a heart of diamond,  unbelievably tough, and worth more than its weight in gold; which you wore proudly on your sleeve. 

I’ll miss talking with you into the wee hours, about everything from history and philosophy, to music and books (your ASOIAF knowledge was GOAT level).

I’ll miss playing games, and goofing around on the guitar with you.

I miss you.

Teddy & Eve,

We are so sorry for the loss of your beautiful brother and son. We never had the chance to meet Brooks, but can see that he had a personality as big as his smile. Please know that we are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.
