Bridgett Rose Moreland, age 3, passed away on January 8, 2024, in Durham, NC. She was born on September 24, 2020, in Henderson, NC. Bridgett was the light of her parent's lives and brought joy to everyone she encountered with her spunky and fun-loving demeanor. She attended preschool at Start-rite preschool, where she was loved by all.

Bridgett is survived by her loving mother, Melissa Moreland, her devoted father, Bobby Moreland, and her adoring brother, Brooks Moreland. She is also survived by her cousins, Milena Stinson, Kaysen Stinson, and Charli Stinson. As well as special family friends, Nancy and Mark Lovelace, Andi and Todd McNelean, Chloe and Ella Stinson, and Danielle and Shan Stinson. Bridgett was preceded in death by her grandmother, Norma Jean Moreland, her grandfather, James Moreland, her grandmother, Elaine Danks, her grandfather, Robert Danks, and her aunt, Debbie Moreland.

No funeral services will be held for Bridgett. However, the family will be hosting a secular candlelight vigil and balloon release in her memory on January 27th, 2024, at 5PM at Kerr Lake Park. Weather permitting, the event will provide an opportunity for family and friends to come together and honor Bridgett's life.
