Brian's obituary

                      Brian Edwin Stinson
December 21st 1984 – September 10th 2024

On Tuesday September 10th 2024, Brian Edwin Stinson, found eternal peace.
Grilled cheese sandwiches, Lincoln logs, and exploring the nearby woods made up the majority of Brian’s childhood. He enjoyed long walks and found peace among the pine trees and wild critters. One of his favorite books was “My side of the Mountain.”
Brian was very intelligent, but not in the way schools typically test for. He could perfectly deliver a punch line, instinctually cook an amazing meal, and win people over to his side of an argument with the right mix of charm and nonchalance. He left school around the 10th grade and pursued a career on a towboat.
Brian was a former Tankerman, with Magnolia Marine Transport before his death, and also spent many years on a tow boat with Florida Marine Transport.
Gifted with beautiful sky blue eyes, an easy confidence, and a fantastic sense of humor, the lack of a degree never slowed him down.
His pride and joy in his life was his daughter. After every hitch on the boat, he would head home for those precious hugs. He took up skateboarding just to spend time with her zooming around the block, making memories she will cherish forever.
Generosity was a trait that defined Brian. He had no qualms about sharing anything he had with anyone around him, or in need. He would routinely give to the homeless he came across in hopes of making another human happy, even if it was only for a few hours.
Brian was pre deceased by his Paternal Grandparents Hugh Edwin and Ninabel Stinson, and his Maternal Grandparents James Hewitt Alford, and Lydia Cody.
He is survived by his beloved daughter, Brelynn Michelle Stinson.
His parents Melvin Edwin Stinson (Heide) Kathy Holmes (Mike).
His Sister’s Pamela Gilardi (Joe),and Kimberly Ainsworth (Neal), and his Nephew’s Leander, Zachary, and Vincent Gilardi and Nolan Ainsworth.
Aunt Crystal Rockco (J.W.)
Uncle James Harold Alford (Stacy)
Aunt Shirley Mc Cullough
A celebration of life will be held at Rawls Springs Community Center Friday, October 4th 2024 from 5pm until 8pm with a service beginning at 6pm.
