Brian's obituary

Brian Robson, a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on February 10, 2025. Born on August 3, 1955, he lived a full and vibrant life filled with joy, laughter, and a deep love for those around him.

Brian is survived by his wife, Mary Nixon, whom he married in 2007, and his daughter, Abbie Kliewer.

He was the rock of his family and loved spending quality time with all of his family members and especially his grandchildren. Every Friday night, Brian would often accompany his grandchildren to UMBA in Underwood to watch them roller skate, creating memories that will last a lifetime. His cherished dog, Buster, was a constant companion for eleven years, joining Brian on car rides at every opportunity.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marolyn Robson, and his father, Donald Robson, and both of his brothers, Donnie and Robin Robson.

Brian loved all things good, from music to food. He was a big fan of Chris Stapleton, and he particularly enjoyed a good meal, claiming his favorite food was "anything good." His love for action movies was only paralleled by his passion for his favorite recreational activities. Besides his family, Brian was happiest running equipment, specifically in dirt work or concrete crushing.

Always the life of the party, Brian was incredibly outgoing. He would converse with anyone in the room, share stories, and fill the room with his infectious laughter. His favorite local spots included Bomgaars's and UMBA, where his friendly demeanor was well-known and cherished.

Brian leaves behind a legacy of hard work and ingenuity. He considered one of his greatest accomplishments was running a power line demolition company and designing a pole puller for the job. His creativity and determination in his work made him a role model in his field and beyond.

His memory will be carried in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.
