Brian Howard Olsen, age 44, lost his life to the sea the night of November Ist, 2021, 30 nautical miles from Cape Lookout, Oregon. He was born June Ist, 1977, in Port Angeles, WA, to parents Roxanne Olsen and Melvin Olsen. Brian was a 1995 graduate of Crescent High School in Joyce, WA. Living a life with love for the outdoors, he spent much of his time outside, whether it was gardening, biking, fishing, or simply enjoying his beer. He was an amazing father, a great friend, and a loved son. Brian is survived by his 4 children; Kayla, Shantelle, Amelia, and Brett, as well as his parents Roxanne and Melvin, his sister Nicole, his nieces and grandchildren. Family, friends, and those whose lives were touched by Brian are invited to come together for a celebration of life on January 8th, 2022 at the Joyce Bible church, from 12pm - 4pm. This memorial will also be a potluck, feel free to bring anything, or simply bring yourself. We would like to dedicate this day to remember his life, grieve, and just simply get together and support one another through these hard times.
