Brian Richard McGunnigle, 80, passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 28, 2020 in Allentown, PA. He grew up in Bethpage, NY. He was the son of the late Raymond McGunnigle and Dorothy Foran. He was a character like no other. Intelligent, funny, unique. He never ceased being cool. Dapper til the end. He wore many hats in life, figuratively and literally. His most impactful was as a machinist, antiques and gold/silver dealer, and especially as “Chauncey”, an extraordinary limousine driver. He was a talented enthusiast photographer and had great taste in music. Brian was a “devout” atheist and social democrat; his body was donated to science, a wish he spoke about often.
He was married and divorced four times- Mary, Janet, Barbara (our Mother), and Amy.
Predeceased by: brother, Raymond; sister, Eileen; Nieces Debbie & Donna.
Surviving family: daughter, Colleen & Husband Chris; son, Brian; Nieces Corinne and Kathy. Grandchildren: Kristie, Ellen, Neil, & Helen. And a great grandchild on the way.
