Here are some music memories- a playlist of some songs I remember to be his favorites
https://open.spotify.com/play…
Brian was my brother-in -law for 10 years. I was 14 years old when I stood up as Maid of Honor at his and my sister’s wedding, and 15 years old when they welcomed their beautiful daughter Colleen into the world. Once Colleen arrived, I spent every Friday afternoon traveling from Long Island to Allentown to spend the weekend with the 3 of them.
Brian was always very welcoming to me, my friends, and significant others. My friends loved visiting with my family, as Brian was extremely entertaining and knowledgeable on so many levels. He shared our interests in music, politics and world events. He and my sister even chaperoned one of my school dances!
Years later, after my nephew Brian was born, I followed them out to California, as they had been traveling for about a year, and I missed them terribly! My brother-in-law was able to secure a job for me at NASA, where he was working in California...and I have many fond memories of traveling back and forth to work with him every day!
Eventually, we all traveled back east together in a radical Volkswagen van...enjoying many cross country experiences and adventures! Brian and my sister stood up for my first husband and I when we married in 1973 and I still remember his Best Man speech, in which he stated, “May they have everything they want...and want everything they have”....words I still try to live up to!
Brian was good to me...he helped me grow up and exposed me to unique and interesting experiences....I especially loved spending time in his various shops and our travels to flea markets and antiques fairs!
RIP dear brother-in-law, I’ve always loved you and I’ll certainly never forget your impact on my life! xoxo
