Updates

Update from Aug. 22, 2023

We wanted to express our sincerest gratitude to all of you for participating in Brian’s Celebration of Life. It went just as we had hoped. People laughed, cried, and shared a story with the person sitting next to them — all of which Brian would have loved. We felt his presence and believed he was right there with us.

We’d also like to extend a huge thank you to all who donated to the Deschutes River Conservancy on his behalf — a place in which he cared deeply, and found so much enjoyment throughout his life.

Thank you all again for your stories, generosity, and love.

Take care of yourselves until we see you again,

Annie and Lyle Jarvis

Obituary

Born February 6, 1962 as the 4th child of Lyle and Mary Jarvis, Brian lived a full life until his death on July 3, 2023.

The Jarvis family moved to Bend in 1965. They landed next to Juniper Park where their neighbors became lifelong friends (the Moores, Dunlaps, Cartmills and Jantzies to name a few).

In 1980, the family moved to Redmond where Brian graduated from Redmond High School.
