Brian's obituary

  • Brian R. Fleming, Sr., 79 of Mt. Laurel, NJ, passed away on November 19 2021 after a lifelong struggle with diabetes.  Brian was born in 1942 to Bernice and Leland Fleming in Endicott, NY. After several moves, they settled in Maple Shade, NJ.  After graduating from Moorestown High School in 1960,  he married his high school sweetheart, Lorraine Eck.  Brian was determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world. He was proud of his son, Brian Jr. (wife Dot), and daughter Sandy (husband Steve) as well as his grandchildren, Nicole, Katie, Danny, and great-grandson, Joey, and always tried his best to support them.  Brian spent 30 years working first in the machine shop and later in administration at Erico in Moorestown, NJ.  Later he was the proud owner of The Video Trading Post in Delran, NJ. In his younger years, Brian enjoyed jogging, dancing with his wife, and cars. As the years caught up, he remained an avid Flyers fan and loved spending time at home with Lorraine and their dog, Missy.   The family requests that any gifts be made in the form of a donation to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
