Brian's obituary
Brian Fleming Jr., 63, of Cape Coral, FL, passed away suddenly on July 28, 2024.
Brian was born on January 7th, 1961 to Lorraine and Brian Fleming Sr. in Mt. Laurel, NJ. After graduating from Delran High School in 1979, he went on to study Restaurant and Hotel Management at Widener University. Brian spent most of his life residing in South Jersey with more recently moving to Alabama and finally settling in Cape Coral, FL making his life long dream of living in the Florida sun come true. He had many career experiences over the years including: District Manager at Chi Chi’s, business owner, real estate, President at ReBath of Delaware and NJ as well as ReBath of Birmingham.
Brian was the definition of a social butterfly. He enjoyed making friends wherever he went and could talk to pretty much anyone. His love for food, made him an amazing cook and he loved nothing more than making a delicious meal for his family and friends. Brian was a diehard Philly sports fan, with the Phillies being his number 1. If he wasn’t watching the Phillies, you could find him building his Model Railroad for his trains. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of his daughter, Nicole and always tried his best to support her. Brian was predeceased by his father, Brian Fleming Sr. He is survived by his loving wife, Dot, his mother Lorraine, sister Sandy (Steve), daughter Nicole (Joe), stepson Dave (Nicole), stepdaughter Amanda (Alija), and grandchildren Joey, Haylee, Quinton, Cayden and Robert.
There will be a memorial service at Bethany Lutheran Church (617 Morgan Ave. Palmyra, NJ 08065) on Monday August 5th, 2024. Visitation at 10:30AM, Service at 11:00AM. Lunch to follow.
