When I PCS to Fort Carson he was my PSG. He mentored me on the Crowes. I was having family issues he was the 1st one to drop everything to come and help me figure out on how the situation can be fixed. When my son was born he personally helped me get baby leave.
Sometimes I was Uncle Bill, but most of the time I was just plain old Bill, Brian’s friend and family and confidant. I was and remain blessed and thankful.
Sorry for your loss he was an amazing friend and Nco and helped me through my military career.

Clawson was my section leader in 2018 Afghanistan and later my platoon sergeant he was always fair and one of the best leaders I had he truly wanted to help the soldiers under him and would show it through mentoring them even if they were not under his command. He will be greatly missed by any soldier lucky enough to have served with him

Me and Brian Carson served in 4-2 together and deployed together. Excellent soldier and friend.  He will be greatly missed by the 4-2  Stryker Brigade  Family .
Brian Clawson was my section sergeant in Afghanistan in 2018. When him and I weren't goofing off, He would always tell me about his kids and couldn't wait to get home to see them. I'm glad to have known him and called him my friend. I wish to express my condolences and this world's a lot dimmer without his light. I love and miss you brother, until we meet again. U saga gi minahgong, primo. Diskansa gi pas yan guinaiya. Rest in peace and love. I know how much you wanted to come to Guam and learn the CHamoru language. I'm sorry you never got the book you told me you wanted. I hope you feel my apology. Thank you for the memories we shared even if it was a super long time ago in Kawaii at our familia reunion. I remember feeling safe around you like you were my long lost big bro. I was like 13 or 14. You really were a fun person to chill with. I'll always remember your energy. Vibes don't lie.  Hu guaiya hao. I love you. Condolences to your whole family.
