We are saddened to announce the passing of Mr. Brian Angel, who was born on June 30, 1950, and passed away peacefully on February 28, 2026.
Cherishing his memory are his daughters, Rachel and Ashley Angel, his niece Elizabeth Southerland, and his nephew Michael Beam. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his grandchildren; Eryk-Mykil Clonch, Izaiaha Rodarmel, Kayden, Saydia, and Nevaeh Angel. Brian now joins his late parents, Arthur and Elizabeth Angel, and his late sister, Debbie Angel-Laffitte, in cherished memory.
Brian Angel was a man of immeasurable courage, having joined the Air Force on May 1, 1973. He served with honor and dedication until his retirement in 1984. After his retirement, he embarked on several new journeys - from the birth of his daughters to moving to Shreveport, LA, in 2004 to bring promoted to Grandpa in 2010 and several years after, he enjoyed the remainder of his days in beautiful Shreveport, LA.
A man of simple tastes, Brian loved Coke and was a fan of Harry Belaforte's "Turn Around". His favorite meals often included Ice Cream, Fruit Slices, and Orange Slices. Lovers of laughter were always in good company with Brian, as making people laugh was his preferred pastime. His loving, caring nature, combined with his playful sense of humor, brought warmth and joy to those around him. His passion for tinkering with electronics was only surpassed by his love for his family, especially his daughters and grandchildren.
In every sense, Brian Angel was, as his name suggests, an angel. His unending love, his infectious laughter, and his caring soul will be missed dearly by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His life was a testament to the power of love, laughter, and perseverance, and his memory will continue to inspire and uplift those he has left behind.
