About a hundred years or so ago Brent and I hauled the stock from Arms and Armor down to Bristol the Friday before opening weekend . As most of you are aware that`s about a six to eight hour drive. I have never laughed so hard or so long in my life. I am reasonably sure I broke to ribs laughing and it only seemed like a couple of hours ...

I miss Brent and think about him every day. I have never known anyone like Brent.

I worked with Brent over the past few years. He was a good man, and he is greatly missed.

Someone had given my Son a toy monkey, however it was more geared towards an adult since the noises that it made were NOT PG rated. I knew right away who I would pass this onto, since he always talked about monkeys flying out of his butt. He and Markus came over and I presented it to him. He thought it was just a stuffed monkey, I told him to activate it and it started making it noises. Brent almost fell over with laughter, the twinkle in his eye was all I needed to see.

Brent was a strong Man, Strongest was his heart, his love for his girls and their families, and his friends. He loved being silly and pulled out the silliness of the most conservative person in the room. He reminded you to not forget the freedom of being a kid at heart. He was tender when called for, but could also kick you in the arse, when you needed it. His storytelling was so rich , his voice took you into the story. Orion and I both Miss you, you big galoot.  ❤️ 😢

Brent, I‘ll never find anyone who was able to make the serious side of me break out in utter side aching silly laughter as you did! I hope your  spirit is taking on those too serious for their own good and giving them silly laughter and joy to spread in the world that so sorely needs to be more joyous!   ❤️
I have known many different characters in my life - some wonderful some downright evil and many in between but in my 61 years I have never known anyone like Brent.
I have never laughed like I have with Brent and sadly never will again.
I had the great good fortune of being able to speak with him shortly before he crossed the Bridge and will treasure that conversation for the rest of my life. For all his hilarity and laughter and everything that he was I will remember the quiet dignity he had in our last conversation.
I love you Brent .You will always be a part of me .
Brent was an authentic well rounded and experienced individual. He would often send me interesting diverse information from Scottish poems to history and stories from his life. In my short time working with Brent he made a huge impact!
I first met Brent when we were at Fort Snelling,  We had a lot of fun working  and demonstrating blacksmithing to the visitors. Later Brent and I worked together at my shop in Mendota, He was always a great guy to be around!  My condolences to his family.
