I was Brennan's Boys and Girls Club Basketball Coach while he was in middle school. He was such a great kid to coach because he was not only the standout player on the team, but he was extremely humble and nice to the other teammates.

I coached with a friend during High School for 3 years, and Brennan joined our team during our 3rd season with the similar team. The first season we were winless, and the 2nd season we weren't much better... But the 3rd season when Brennan joined, we made it to the Championship Game!

Later on, I ended up playing basketball once in a while with Brennan's older brother, Kiernan at Hidden Valley. Kiernan started bringing Brennan along, who was in 8th grade around the time, to play against High School Seniors / College Freshman. When Kiernan and Brennan played together they made the game look so easy, and they would beat me and my older friends all the time.

Brennan was an extremely gifted, friendly, and humble star and it is extremely sad to hear of his passing. I send my condolences to his family.

I have so many stories about Brennan. There are so many memories I have and I didn’t think I could figure out a favorite one. One day I was talking to Brennan and I’s friend Connor. I mentioned I didn’t have many photos or videos of us. Connor made a good point. We don’t have a ton of photos or videos together because Brennan and the rest of our friends were very fortunate to grow up before social media became super addicting. Brennan with the rest of our friends always lived in the moment and weren’t obsessed with our phones. Thinking back to the day Brennan and I first hung out after school, I dropped him off that night. The next day as soon as that bell rang to end the day we would meet up and head out for the day. This became a daily routine until one day we realized “damn we have been hanging out non stop”. We actually decided to count how many days straight we had hung out since becoming friends. We figured out for 83 days straight we were attached at the hip. To be honest I couldn’t tell you what we did for 83 days straight but I remember we did everything together. Brennan was my best friends and my brother. I will always cherish the special times we had and the bond we shared. And I thank god we were apart of each others lives just having good fun like normal kids do. Brennan is and will always be my brother and one day I will see him again and it will feel like not a single day has gone by.
