Personal note from Brenda's family

On Saturday, December 8,2018, Brenda's husband and children invite you to visit with them between 10 and 11 am and join in a "Celebration of Life" service beginning at 11 am. The visitation and service will be held at Eastside Baptist Church 1318 E. Calhoun St. Plant City, FL 33563.

The family gratefully acknowledges the amazing love and support they have received during Brenda's illness and her passing. We welcome you to share memories and thoughts on this site and at her Celebration of Life as your kind remembrances mean so much to her family and are a legacy to her grandchildren.


Brenda Weeks was welcomed into heaven on November 28,2018. Brenda was born on July 28, 1946 to Johney & Betty Rathel in Columbus, Ga. and grew up in Tampa, Florida with her siblings Sharon New, Wayne Rathel and Juanita Sheppard. Brenda accepted Jesus as her savior while attending El Bethel Baptist Church. She attended Hillsborough High School with her high school sweetheart, Wayne Weeks.
