It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brenda McCaskey, who peacefully left us on August 12, 2024. Born on August 31, 1951, Brenda journeyed through life with integrity, kindness, and an infectious zest that left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Brenda is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband Larry McCaskey; brothers Doug Dupree, Donnie Dupree and Lee Dupree; and sister Jannette Butts. A loving mother and Grannie, she will be deeply missed by her son, Larry McCaskey, her granddaughter Malin McCaskey and grandson Lleyton McCaskey.

Brenda was predeceased by her father Tommy Dupree, mother Bobbie Ward and brother Tom Dupree.

Brenda's life was an embodiment of selfless love and relentless courage, traits that she imparted to her family and friends. She had an uncanny ability to bring out the best in others, and her absence will be deeply felt.

Friends, family, and others whose lives Brenda touched are invited to a Celebration of Life, set to take place on September 7, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Life.Church Keller. This gathering will not only mourn Brenda's departure but more importantly, celebrate the remarkable life that she led. It will be an occasion to remember and honor Brenda, a woman of strength, warmth, and unshakeable faith.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to The Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation.  As we bid farewell to Brenda McCaskey, her spirit lives on in the many lives she touched. May she rest in peace.
