My mother was a foster mother of 47 years, In the 50 years she served as a mother, she fostered and cared for over 30+ children plus 6 of her own. At the age of 7 my mother went leagally blind, therefore I had to be her eyes until her departure. In 2002, my mother was presented with an award for foster mother of the year by former Mayor Scott Eisenhower. Despite mothers' disability, it didn't stop her love for raising children. In 2011, my mother suffered with heart and kidney failure, causing her to have to go on dialysis in 2013. My mother also suffered with anemia, causing her to have multiple transfusion. On December 13, 2022, my mother heart stopped. She was revived successfully. Mother was with us for 9 more days after being in the hospital 5 of them. Mother paid on accidental insurance for 26 years only not to be able to use it. I'm seeking help with service and cremation. She left behind children, grandchildren, godchildren and foster children.
