We were so very saddened and sorry to hear about the passing of your Mom. Brenda was such a great person with a kind heart who cared deeply for all her family, extended family and friends. Over the years, we always enjoyed and looked forward to seeing Brenda on her visits to Alliston. She often referred to us as coming to see her Canadian Family ♥! Brenda was always interested and took time to ask about our family - wanting to know how everyone was doing and what they were up to. We will truly miss those visits, Brenda’s humour and the many laughs and happy times we shared together with her.
We know that all of you were Brenda’s pride and joy, as it came shining through during our visits with her. Your Mom will be greatly missed by all. May all your wonderful memories of your Mom comfort you during this sad and difficult time.
With deepest sympathy.

I am sending my sincerest sympathy and condolences to the family in the loss of a daughter, sister, mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother. May the fondest of memories and the love of family and friends help you during this sad time. Brenda was a special person to many of us who called her our “friend”. I had the pleasure of having her as my good friend for many years. Brenda and I enjoyed many relaxing and enjoyable times at her favorite place, the trailer on the lake at Buckhorn. May we all cherish our memories in different ways as we journey through life. “Till we meet Again” my friend.

I would always remember Brenda's laugh, very contagious. I met Brenda in Trinidad. Beautiful Person. What I would always remember, when I traveled to Forte Myers in 2011, Brenda and Sharon met me at the airport, both dressed in green t-shirts, it was St. Patrick's Day. On their green t-shirts wrote TRINI TO D BONE. We laughed so much, it was hilarious. Both Brenda and Sharon made me feel very welcomed in Forte Myers.
I would miss her voice and laughter very much.
My deepest condolences to Brenda's family, House Mates, IBA Community and close friends.
RIP Brenda

I left SW FL 17 years ago and only saw Brenda several times during those years but carried my love and respect for her in my heart.
Since her death I have had a reoccurring "minds eye" slide show of our friendship. Lots of drama/lots of laughs/some tears. I want to share one hysterical evening. We had taken my pontoon boat (which I hardly knew how to operate so Brenda was the driver) and cruised the backwaters to a restaurant in North Napkes from Bonita Springs. Afterr dinner we found a boat that was out of gas and going no where. We called Lee and he got us going again but now it was pitch black and we had to get back to Bonita. With great boldness Brenda took us on a journey to be remembered! My job was to watch for channel markers (in the dark) as she drove full speed ahead in an attempt to dodge sandbars. I was of little help partially because of the speed. We laughed and we screamed all the way back and sighed with relief as we saw the lights along Bonita Beach Road and knew we were going to "make it". As we pulled into the dock Brenda was yelling at me in laughter for not helping navigate . That was when we realized I still had my sunglasses on from earlier and could not see a thing!
We are all so fortunate to have our own slide show of memories and gratitude for our friendship with an amazing unique woman. I can't help but think of her singing "I Can Only Imagine" and knowing she is living far more than our imagination could ever have created.

My husband and I first met Brenda when she came to Canada to visit her friend Blanche. That was over 25 years ago. She was a beautiful person. We had her and Blanche D.J. our demolition derby and also our Wedding. She truly had a beautiful voice and spirit. She will be missed. RIP Brenda fly high!

I had the privilege to take a couple classes from Brenda, she was always open to others who did not agree with her and was always learning.... She completely lived outside of any ego. I am sure she is continuing her adventures in another place and time and many of you will see her again.

Although the beautiful Brenda was only a few years older than me, I called her “mama” because she cared for me and loved me like a perfect mama. Biofeedback brought us together but instantaneous love took hold and I was blessed to be around her for a few years until I moved away. No one, and I mean NO ONE, ever has had such a transformative effect on me than she did. The peace and love and happiness I carry in my soul is because she taught me how get there. I was her student, friend and will always know her as one of the few people on this planet for whom I have such respect. She was the real deal, walked the walk and had the most delicious sense of humor. I will always love her. My condolences and love to her family and Sharron and Paula.
