Brenda Baggett Forsyth, 64, of Creedmoor passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Duke Regional Hospital.

Born in Arlington County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Frank Alton Baggett and Mary Burnette Baggett.

Brenda graduated from the University of North Carolina and worked for Lanier Law Group for many years.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home of Creedmoor, officiated by Reverend Johnny Yount. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Durham.

Survivors include two sons, Christopher Tarpley and Kevin Tarpley (Theresa); two grandchildren, Karson and Cameron Tarpley; an uncle, Billy Ray Burnette (Mildred Pittman) and their daughters; a close friend, Mary Grace and many special coworkers at Lanier Law Group.

The family will receive friends Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home of Creedmoor.
