**In Loving Memory of Brenda Clayton**

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brenda Clayton , a devoted and beloved member of our community, on 7/22/2024 at the age of 68. Born on 7/7/1956 in Bossier City, LA, Brenda was a beacon of faith, compassion, and kindness, whose heart of gold touched the lives of everyone she met. Her unwavering faith and deep love for God were evident in everything she did. Known for her warm smile and gentle spirit, Brenda had an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel special and loved.

Brenda is survived by her loving daughter, Amanda, whose dedication and compassion ensured that her mother’s final days were filled with love and comfort. She is also survived by her granddog, Buttons, and her son Christopher. She is also survived by her last living sibling and best friend, her sister Virginia, whose unwavering support and friendship brought joy and comfort throughout her life. She also leaves behind a host of other family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory and the impact she made on their lives.

A celebration of Brenda’s life will be held on August 10, 2024 from 10:00 am-12:00 pm at Tangipahoa Baptist Church in Kentwood, LA- 40 Highway 440, Kentwood, LA 70444. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your local animal shelter or to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in her memory, reflecting her lifelong commitment to helping others.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find solace in knowing that Brenda is now at peace, embraced by the eternal love of God. Her legacy of faith, love, and compassion will continue to inspire us all.
